The Douglas County Childcare Coalition, co-led by Care Connections & Education and Business Champions for Kids, is here to provide extra support for those who work in childcare and those starting or growing a childcare business.

Whether you’re launching a new program, working as a childcare staff member, or expanding your business, this hub connects you to Childcare Coalition funding, resources, and support to help you thrive.

Childcare Incentive Program

Financial bonuses are available for:

  • New childcare staff hired in the last 60 days
  • New or expanding childcare owners/operators licensed in the last 60 days
  • Providers adding slots in high-need care types (Douglas County only)
  • Publicly funded programs including public school or HeadStart. Preschool Promise sites may be eligible (see guidelines)
  • Started working at a childcare site more than 60 days ago
  • Licensed to open or expand a childcare site more than 60 days ago
